# of people w/ no SCT related problems.

I always hear about people w/ SCT's w/ custom tunes that have had problems, like head bolts, gaskets, etc. etc.. My question is are there even more people out there that don't have problems?

I hope that came out right.

Build date 10/05, CC,LB,3.73LS,SRW,ISSPRO Pyro-Boost-Trans on the APillar,ARP Studs,Stock HG's,ELITE SCT Tadd's Tunes,Sinister SCT,Innovative tunes,EGR delete,4" turbo back dual exhst, zoodad, ccv mod, Coolant bypass filter, Cage leveling kit,upfitter high idle, running Amsoil 3000 with Archoil, 6.4 banjo's, Blue spring, 03 Turbo w/ 03 pedestal.
Issues: Rear main seal at 1'700 mls. EGR valve, EGR cooler and Oil cooler @ about 43k, Stock Head Gaskets @55k, Black Onyx HG's @72k.

I have some SCT tunes that I am running and no problems at all. 47K on the clock which isn't much but it runs like a spotted ape and no problems at all. Puked once back when I had the Edge for 5K miles but not one stain on the driveway.

What tune do you use for a daily driver or most ofter? Is it an extreme or some thing like that?

I run a "economy" tune all the time, mine is a little hotter than most economy tunes. I have a tow, economy and race files. The race puts down a lot of power but shifts hard and fast like I wanted. I don't use this much at all but never had a problem. I think most SCT "claimed" problems lies in the drivers left foot.
Get one man you'll love it.

Matt at lidiesel.com does my tunes and I've had zero problems from his tunes.

Thanks man. I have one on the way. It should be here tomorrow. I'm getting it from Elite (thinking of tow torque, high HP and insanity). I may change them before I call them tomorrow

I am running Elite's tunes, and am very satisfied. No problems or puking issues. I went with the tow power, high power and insanity. I run the insanity file 24/7 unless it's really cold outside, then I drop it to high power.

Running mine for 60k miles and counting on the SCT and still no problems...hell, I'm still on stock headstuds.

I run either DJ's or Doug's race tunes as my daily driver...right now I'm on the new Looney tune as my daily...

57k with SCT and not a single problem and I usually run the "Race" versions daily. And im stock except for an intake.

ran a banks six gun for around 40k, no problems...been running sct for about 6k, no problems. ran banks on 5 all the time been running street tunes on sct
