Turbo replacement

I took the truck in to get the turbo cleaned they said it came up as being dirty.
Well they called today and said that the turbo had play in it and the shaft was bad. Any body have that problem. Thank god it is under warrinty. :shrug:

Ive had to have my cleaned once. didnt have a bad shaft though

'04 6.0, 4.5" lift, straight piped, SCT tunes by Innovative Diesel, studded, coolant filter, EGR delete Tru track in the rear, sounds by JL audio some other odds and ends

They said my turbo was a cleaning to my truck is still in the shop.

Turbo's have play in them when there is not any oil pressure going to them. The question is how much? Generally if the wheel touches the housing when side loaded...its time for a swap....if not then its probably normal.
