Edge and egr delete

Hey i have an 05 F250 im going to be getting a new edge juice platinum with attitude and i was wondering if i delete my egr will the attitude's trouble codes clear make it so i dont have to look at the check engine light.

ok i gues i will have to deal with it once i delete my egr. ill probably put some electric tape over it. thanks

Ya i think only the 03 and 04 model will not throw a code if you delete your EGR. With you having an 05 more than likely it will throw a code. I am not going to push this on you or anything but SCT with a custom tune can shut off the EGR system completely. Hope this helps!!

yes i have looked into the SCTs ive seen some people with some bad *** custom tunes but i like the on the fly with the edge but if it is possible to run the edge and the sct at the same time i meet do that so i can have a nice everyday driving tune with the sct and with a touch of a button smoke some racer lol but im not sure if a could run them at the same time.

Unless you are just wanting a catastrophic failure, you really do not want to stack power programs......

What you can do though, is get a "trans only" tune that also shuts off the EGR and put that with your Edge... If you go that route, Eric can set you up with a sweet trans tune...

If yours doesn't have a MAF sensor, it wont turn the CEL on, and if you leave the valve plugged in, it won't even throw a code.

2005 F-250 6.0L King Ranch FX4. 125k miles, Edge Platinum, EGR delete, MBRP turbo back exhaust without cat, an 03 turbo, and 4.30 gears.

on an 05 turbo im looking at one broke down and would the egr delete mess with the vanes opening and closing
