Tuning needed for a NON VGT turbo to work correctly???

How much changes are needed in tuning for a NON vgt turbo compared to a stock one?? I installed a turbonetics 61/68 turbo and running right now with the stock tuning is the only way I can run the truck without my EGTS skyrocketing.... My tow and extreme run WAY to hot...

Aaron try talking to Eric about what you got, pretty sure he can tune a Non VGT well.

im pretty sure the tunes for VGT and conventional turbos are different.

you will probably get a CEL because of no vgt actuator if you dont get new tunes. other than that it should run ok but for low smoke you have to somewhat base fueling on boost

the vgt actuator should still be hooked up, aaron ill send u my sct3 tuner with erics customs tunes for it.....

2005 f-250, 97 cummins and zf6spd!!!!

Aaron has a Auto trans i believe and unless his Strat is the same i wouldn't run it.
