I have been told by many folks that the SCT is safer because of the way the defueling in programmed in to the tune that helps to prevent too much boost/pressure. Not saying it IS better, just going off what I have been told.

Hope this helps.. I'm sure if you haven't already tried the search option you could find way more info from folks that know a lot more than me.. or hopefully they will chime in and help ya out.

When you had your studs done the first time, were the heads and deck checked to see if they were warped or cracked?if they were not warped or cracked the first time who's to say that they didn't crack after studs. Just because they are studded, don't mean that they can't crack.

yea im sure it will but all im really worryed about now is keeping the heads from popping again but having a truck that isnt a dog cuz i am 99.9% sure that the gaskets are good cuz a comp test came back good but i am burning coolant and last time both heads were cracked inside the valve seat

probably running too much timing. I havent puked a drop with my current setup but both heads were cracked when i tore it down. This I believe was do to running too much timing with tunes from a sct dealer pm me if your curious to who it was.
