Some out there thinkin...Possible???...

Similar to how some have run an SCT Trans tune with an Juice/Attitude, do you think it would be possible to run a SCT Trans tune and run a DP Tuner, or that Jody may be able to come up with a way to do that?

Just tryin to think outside the box a little, that would be a really kick ***** combination if possible!!

He does sct for 6L. It would be awesome if it would ever be possible for him to make a chip that would work and run sct trans tune with it.

Yes it would. i think with the complexity of the new pcms its getting a bit hard to make good strong efficient power by just manipulating parameters.. Would be neat to hear what Jody or Diane have to say about it..

Ya know, since a module can be changed on the fly like the chips for 7.3's and that is the biggest draw to them, I have never understood why somebody didn't go to the trouble to make a module that could be custom tuned for these things.. Something that plugged into all three ports on the PCM so the tranny could be controlled too..... There are still times when I wish I could just punch a couple of buttons or flip a switch and change tunes. Seems to me, that would be a strong seller.. I know I would buy one in a heartbeat....

seems to me and im sure you and every one else seen it, the tuners stopped giving a rats when the 6.4 came out. the ones that did shine like no tomorrow and makes me a bit upset. Oh a new motor, lets give up when we worked so hard for because this motor makes more power.. 2 guys in their back yard have the most hp so far makes you think sometimes..

The programming is too complicated to simply interrupt the signal and manipulate it, like the modules are programmed to do. There are too many internally calculated values for fueling, boost, torque, etc. to change a few external signals.

The 7.3L trucks have a port for a chip to be installed. This was the last of the ultimate on the fly tuning. It's the same chip that the Mustangs, Lightning's, etc. used. When the chip is installed, the memory is redirected to the chip. So, you get the same factory tables, but it's read from the chip rather than the memory within the PCM. Ford stopped adding ports on all of their vehicles now, but the CAN Processor, like the 6.0L has was the first to have it removed.

We are still working hard on the 6.0L parts and tuning. Our race truck will be back in action in a few weeks, after another round of upgrades.

It manipulates the stock signals from the sensors to the ECM, to trick the sensors into more fuel. It's a module.
