You don't have to get new tunes after you do studs. Some tuners offer what they call "Stud" tunes iirc and they just add a little bit of timing to your current tunes.

That extra timing would help with mileage and throttle response. I'd get new tunes if I got studs, but you don't need to be in a hurry for it.

on the contrare high timing kills down low response/performance. Negative timing down low gives the best spoolup/responce
Also there is no need for more than stock timing or a slight bump anything more and your risking puking again after studs and that would not be good

What head studs give you is " PIECE OF MIND " (if done right).

My extreme race tune is from eric. He said that he added more fuel for my studs.

I'm thinking of doing that but my trk is my only vehicle and can't have it down for a week. I keep hearing about the cold start issues but its cold were Eric lives and I can't see him putting something out their that he wouldn't run.
