Tuner Setting

I have a 2004 Ford F250 4x2 and was wondering what axle ratio I should put in my tuner? I am guessing it is 3.73, but don't want to mess up the Tranny.

Jack up rear and mark tire with chalk at 12 oclock position, mark driveshaft, now spin tire one full rotation while counting driveshaft mark. If it goes over 4 by a little it's probly 4.10 if it stops before the 4th rotation it's probly 3.73.
Or call dealer and have vin # ran.

There shold be a tag on the rear end housing that states the gear ratio. It should be attached by one of the cover bolts.

Being an F250, it is likely a 3.73 but you can do as has been suggested and know for sure......
