Spartan Super-Duper end all tuner...

Did that Spartan Tuner ever come out for the 6.0L that's supposed to do EVERYTHING??? If so, how's it do? Wasn't it supposed to tune the FICM too?

I ask cause we all know how "informative" the website is when it comes to the 6.0L

Large Alternator(250amps)(130 amps was so 2003). On 3rd set of Hgs(soon to be 4th), 2nd set of heads, 2nd tubro, egr cooler, FICM and more. When i Turn the Key it does return a Favor, not always in MY Favor.

the tuner is out. it currently does not have ficm tuning. from what i have gathered they are working on that but most likely we will see a 6.7 psd tuner first.

isspro egt/boost/trans/fuel

as well as pretty much

i read in a post matt say that they are almost ready to get the FICM tuning out. i think the phalanx (when it get's FICM tuning capabilities) will be the top of the line tuner. my experience as a spartan diesel tech customer has been their tunes were pretty much as good as they get, but they always were to busy or it was on the way or never return emails. my hybrid race tune didn't shift right and i got that tune around christmass and sent many emails and called a couple times leaving messages and about 6+ months later all i got was an email from matt saying he understands my frustrations, wishes he could help, but he will no longer be tuning SCT's.
considering all the gauge monitoring abilities with the dashdaq and spartans knowledge with powerstrokes and tuning, plus FICM it will be one heck of a tuner!! maybe one day if it all comes together i will be able to get one, hopefully they still remember the lifetime customers and the prorated price talked about last year which will make some of their old customers happy and buy some phalanx's.

I have thought about wanting to get the new SCT that wireless, but for about the same price it seems that the Spartan thing would be capable of much more... So where would the money be best spent right. I'm just kinda tired of the SCT X2 I have

if you have tunes on your X2 to get you buy for a little bit i would go with the spartan phalanx forsure, but maybe wait until the FICM tuning is ready (who knows may not be that far away).

I think I'll stick with the SCT. I did not care for any Spartan tunes. I believe they would ruin my truck if I used them daily. Unless someone else can write tunes for it.

you didnt have to run hybrid race all the time you know

if you have the sct x2 id wait and see how it goes. right now there really isnt a better tuning platform for the money. if the phalanx gets ficm tuning you will be able to sell the sct tuner and recoup some bucks.
