Innovative Diesel SCT with tunning

When you order a new SCT X3 from innovative how many tunes do you get with the 430 package?

I believe 3, however they are base Tunes as the Xtreme Tunes are more. I got mine a long time ago so please check first. I hope this helps. Chris

You may get the extreme tunes with this package though you def need to check to be sure. I know you can get the SCT with the canned tunes on it, and I know they sell the SCT with their custom tunes already down loaded to it. Make sure you get the custom tunes as they will run far better

Under the Hood SCT w/Innovative street tunes by Eric, Hot FICM tuned by Power Hungary, custom built 4" intake with huge afe filter, Intake elbow, 3"down pipe to 5" straight piped stack, EGR block off, Zoodad Mod, CCV mod, Complete EGR delete, The Big 3 cable upgrade w/ batts under cab, Autometer pillar guages, Boost, Trans, EGT. APR studs sitting in box ready for install
Suspension 2.5inch leveling kit. Stock King Ranch 18" rims with 33inch Nitto A/T.
Truck is now pushing 134K miles an running strong.

3 standard tunes (economy, street, tow, agg. street, etc). i believe the extremes are an $80 upgrade. the custom tunes do not come preloaded. the X3 does not come with canned tunes. that was the case earlier this year when i got mine.

My x3 came with tow street and performance. then i paid extra to ID for Extreme street.

did you send them your strategy prior to them sending your X3. What is the performance tune specs?

I got the X3 from Extremediesel.com and it came with canned tunes, 65hp tow, 100hp street, 150hp performance. I gave no strategy to purchase, just year and type of truck. Then i called ID Performance and they emailed me extreme street tune that i downloaded onto my X3 which gained another 20-30hp on the top tune so around 175hp total.
I wish i would have ordered my X3 from ID perf. because they sell the X3 with their custom tunes downloaded when you order it and it turns out cheaper. Look on their site and there is X3 stock canned tunes and X3 with their downloaded tunes.

if i am not mistaken the X3 no longer has canned tunes on it. mine does not. the SF3 comes with the 3 tunes as you described.

i have their custom tuned X3. Eric needs your strategy to build your tune. you didn't gain 20 to 30 hp on top of your canned tunes. extreme street is a tune all in itself. Eric does a great job at tuning the trans to work with the power. i run that tune daily. try the extreme race sometime, it is great.

oh man im loosing it. Yeah im sorry i have the sf3, I thought the SF3 and X3 was the same unit just called different things, my apologies. I def want to try out the race tune, cause the extreme street is pretty sweet an alot more powerful than my highest canned tune. Is your race tune pretty easy to drive with daily, i myself usually tow 3.5K pounds daily with my extreme street tune though its not alot of weight driving easy it tows pretty good with very low temps. I wouldnt ever tow with the race but have wondered how streetable it was?

the race tune takes some time getting used too. the converter lock up can be a pain, but once you learn where in your pedal postion it will lock, then driving it is a blast. some guys run it as a daily. i have 6 tunes from Eric and they are all fun. i also have 2 from Matt (Gear head performance). he does a nice job also.

i don't know if you know about the old spartan tune files that are hosted on the web. look for your strategy and load. i have a new strategy and it wasn't on the list. so had to pass. descriptions are at the bottom of the page.
