skipping a gear?

i have an 07 f250. i have and sct tuner and i recently bought some tunes from elite diesel. the power is great but on the insanity file it almost feels like its skips a gear. it goes throgh first and second good and when it tries to go in third it just bogs down until the rpms get back up. any thing i can do to fix it my self or do i need to get another tune? thanks

how long was the tune in the truck when it did it?theres a learning period for the tranny shifting every time you reload a tune.the bogging you feel is probably the truck defueling for the shift.take it easy while the tranny learns or you can smoke the clutches.you cant just tune it and stand on it,you need to make several runs through all gears at light, moderate, and heavy throttle to give it time to learn shift timing and pressures.

I would take a guess that its probably not skipping a gear rather its probably aggressive torque converter lock up that you may not be used to. Mine bogs down the same way you describe if I'm not WOT with a race file. I think its a bit annoying thats why I dont run a race file as my daily driver.
