Running Xtreme Race? Come in............

Checking in with you guys running ID's Extreme Race. Are you having luck with your head gaskets?

I run it as my DD. I'm easy on it and try not no let it lug below 48 - 50 mph in 5th (6th) gear. I have not seen over 22lbs of boost.

I am a little curious about the cylinder pressures (possibly) being high when pulling a hill @ 50mph at partial throttle.

Tap the brake to unlock the converter if it lugs, or hammer it and make it downshift...

I would think your taking a chance on popping your gaskets if your still using the stock head bolts,

Hmmmmm??? Really??? I'm running ARP's. I don't use it at WOT ever as well as I don't let it lug below 1300ish rpm pulling a moderate hill.

I've been running my ID race tune for as long as I've had studs in the truck without issues. I've used it to tow a 10K lbs generator over Snoqualmie pass in WA without issues, tow my camping trailer, atv's and equipment. And my truck is far from babied I beat the crap out of it and it just keeps on ticking.
