cold weather tune (detune until up to temp)

just like the title states...

is this possible? i know we have the control with our right foot and watching our AM gauges and listening to the engine. in the morning i let the truck idle a few minutes and drive easy to keep the boost under 10psi until it's up to temp.

so can the truck be detuned until it warms up and then the X Street comes in?

if it was possible i would think it would already be a tune, but i have read in old post about cold weather start up tunes stuff like that.

your custom tuner who ever it is can write a cold weather tune. What that is...is that a tune will be written to back off fuel at start up so that the truck will start easier i think.

i have heard of those. i'm just wondering if they can tap into the parameters and limit the power until a certain temp is ment.

I'm really not sure about that. Maybe send eric PM if you have his tunes.
