strategy ?

my stradegy is VXP2Q2 what stradegy is this and is it the best one for my truck right now I am haveing a hard time getting the truck to start if its not pluged in an have herd that a reflash might help but I am trying to figure out if it is worth it

2004 ford F350 6.0L 6 speed manual,SCT live wire,south bend double disk clutch,short throw shifter fx4. Costome exhaust 4 inch turbo back to 5" homade stacks, banjo bolt mod, shimed regulator,custom leveling kit (not blocks) and air lift air bags with onbord air suply TRADED FOR

2006 ford F 250 Amarillo 4" turbo back other than that stock for now

Strategy

You probably have VXAP2, VXP2 isn't enough characters and the Q2 part doesn't matter. I think this is one of the middle-later flashes for your year, possibly with the early inductive heating, so you might want to get it updated.

so what do I do about my sct?

Return your truck to stock first and unlock the SCT. Then after you have the latest flash and the new strategy update your SCT or get new custom tunes if you aren't using the canned tunes.

Ok I have my stock file saved to my computer and when I tryed to tune back to stock I get an error message something to do with it is the wrong format so how do I get it back to the original format so I can tune back to stock

The stock strategy is still saved on the SCT. You just need to plug it in to your truck and choose the return to stock option.
