As mentioned yes it will work, I have the same truck with xcal2 as well.....but you will probably have to order custom tunes as the strategy of the op truck will most likely not match yours. No big deal though just call one of the tuners to have them create some tunes for you. I just went through this a few days ago and it is a very simple process. What you should ask the seller to do is take a picture of the sct while it is on and have the picture of the screen showing the unit is unlocked. Mine came with the status-"program failed" and I had to send it in to SCT to have it fixed. It took them 10 days to get it back to me and $65 to complete the service. Good thing though was they replenished the unlocks so I still have 5 left versus only 2. Sorry to rant just want you to understand that it is very important to make sure the unit is unlocked and status-"ready"

if you haven't bought it yet you might be better off with a package deal, like an X3 with custom tunes. I know quicktricks was doing a pretty good deal. might want to check there first

The sct x2 can be unlocked cheaper than the x3 and for the 6.0 they both will be able to do the same thing. I'd go x2 since you can normaly get then cheaper.
