The main difference is the TQ lock-up. Eric locks it early (2-3 shift IIRC) and it holds on and doesn't let go for anything! Vivian's is a bit more forgiving.

What's the weight? Even though you have studs, a race tune with a lot of weight will still create some high CP!

Stock or you could run one of the pre-programmed(canned) SCT tunes on your X3. 1 of the 3 should be a tow tune. I know they arent custom tunes, but they arent stock either.

I had to pull my sisters car back home Sunday(125miles). I ran an old DJs Tow file. The car is a Contour and I pulled it on a dolly, so it didnt weigh much. I did have a few hundred pounds of stuff in the bed and 5 adults in the cab. I never saw egts over 1K*, and kept it set around 65mph. It did come close when it had to pull up hills. I know if I had left my street tune loaded I would have seen it go way over 1k* several times. Your trailer will probly weigh more than my entire load, so Id detune esp the distance you will be going. Even a little load behind the truck will change how it pulls compared to empty cruising.
