whats going on guys? i have the hyper tech module in my truck now they say around 120 horse power gains cant find the torque numbers though it was in the truck when i bought it, from what i read hyper tech was designed to haul up to the gvw that ford recommends with no problems... wondering if i should keep what i have or upgrade to the sct i was about to order it but i thought i would see what you guys had to say this guy i know has blown his up twice within 40k towing with the sct and has everything done to the motor i normally dont haul a trailer but when i do its another vehicle down to the mud holes and do some decent long drives here and there. any help?? thanks!!!
Hyper-tec advertises that it's a safe tuner!
I had the hyper-tec shift on the fly module on my truck for about a year and had to get headgaskets and rebuild the trans!! I did get to dyno with it once 377hp/705tq set on the highest level. If your looking for the best programer for the 6.0, go with sct w/custom tunes.
But with any tune (edge,banks,hyper-tec,sct,ect) you are living on barrowed time with the stock TTY bolts.
