Hypertech Max Energy Programmers ??sss

I had an SCT custom tune Xstreet on my last truck (03 PDS 6.0 ) I liked that fine, and wanted to know your thought on this. I am looking for a little more power for the daily driver. How is the Hypertech, does it cause problems?

I never had the Max Energy one, but I use to run the Hyper-tec pmc adjustable on the fly one. I had less power than the sct canned tunes, and also if I stompped on the throttle, when the trans went to shift gears if bogged out untill I let off the throttle. It might have been a safety feature. I didn't care for it, because when I needed to merge into traffic or pass someone, the hyper-tec would go into safety mode and bogg down.
