xtreme street\race

what is the differance between the xtreme street and the xtreme race tunes from inovative diesel

2004 ford F350 6.0L 6 speed manual,SCT live wire,south bend double disk clutch,short throw shifter fx4. Costome exhaust 4 inch turbo back to 5" homade stacks, banjo bolt mod, shimed regulator,custom leveling kit (not blocks) and air lift air bags with onbord air suply TRADED FOR

2006 ford F 250 Amarillo 4" turbo back other than that stock for now

the main difference is the torque converter lock up strategy, at WOT the extreme race file locks the converter as soon as the truck shifts into 2nd gear, the extreme street file doesnt lock the converter until the truck shifts into 5th (1:1). the part throttle characteristics are different to, the xtreme race locks the converter up much sooner depending on your pedal position, it can take some getting used to.

There's slightly more fuel in general, most noticable in the lower rpm's.

I have and run both tunes, i switch between the two occasionally but for everyday driving i prefer the x street tune. To me it is just easier to drive around town and still has plenty of power. just my opinion

05 White and Tan F 250 lariat with a leveling kit, 33 12.50 20 nitto mud grapplers, 20 inch black moto metal 951s, innovative tuned sct, 4 inch straigt pipe, afe stage two intake, 5 percent tint, pioner head unit, and a infinity perfect 12 powered by a 900 watt arc audio amp.

ya I thinks I am going to get both but now I just have to get a hold of ID and get them but every time I call I just get there voice mail so maybe they will call me back

send eric an email and tell him what u want to do, hes pretty good about returning them. id buy both, im gonna say with ur truck being a 6 speed u might like the xtreme race a little more, it seems to move the truck a bit easier when the converter is locked down low compared to extreme street, since u have a 6 speed that might be important to you.
