pulling 8 dtc's??????

ok i was pulling my racecar trailer home earlier today and as i started to pick up speed before i started up the mountain wot, my programmer started flashing red. i checked when i got home and it had injector circ low 1-7 and one for ficm performance. wat is this and shouldnt it be throwing a check engine light?

05 f250 afe 3.5" to 4" exhaust no cat, green high performance air filter, accufab racing intake elbow, zoodad mod, edge evolution, ccv reroute, 2" lift with 315 70r17 hankook dynapro tires, banjo bolt mod, bb mod, removed fan shroud, swamps 48volt ficm

Your FICM is dying. It will eventually quit completely and the truck will shut off. You need to either repair it or replace it. The instructions for repairing it are on this site. Do a search on FICM repair and you can find them.

Ifyour like me and not too skilled in circuit board repair, Swamps Diesels sells them refurbished with Heavy Duty parts. They cost about half of what the dealer will charge for a new, and if you buy a used one off e-bay you take a chance of buying a junk one. Also Swamp's come with a 1 year warranty.

thanks guys, just one more question? if i get one of swamps hot ficm's will the programmer i have work with it or will i have to get custom tuning?

I believe It will, But you will need to contact Swamp's just to make sure. Also Johnathan at swamps told me if you tow 10+K alot to get the 48v instead of the 58v. The excess load from towing could over heat the ficm. This is what he recommended. With my truck weighing in at 8240 lbs and towing a 7k 5th wheel, I got the 48v>
