My truck just started doing this, if your just driving and let out of the pedal all the way and get back onto it it wont have any reaction...then i just put it in neutral and back in drive and it works...does it about 2 times a day. and sometimes feels like its giving half throttle of what im pushin on the pedal and other times its fine. only happens a little threwout the day
Traditionally you replace the throttle pedal assembly. However, some folks have found the TPS sensor itself and fixed it for less money. I'm not sure where to get the sensor, maybe someone can chime in on where to find one.
That does sound like the TPS. It is a simple changeout and a known problem. I paid $130 for the new pedal assembly from the dealer. They cannot sell just the sensor, and the whole assembly is actually made different than the original ones.
I have had to repalce mine twice since I have had my truck.
