Rain Hiccup!?

As stated. In wet weather, sometimes Moby will "Hiccup". Only in rainy wet weather tho! When its dry, Truck runs like a top! This typically happens after Mobys up to operating temps. WTH..?

"MOby" The big white bio-burning 03 7.3 4x4. 6637, straight piped stock exhaust, and a new "secret" blend of Haul asBLEEPsing mods and upgrades. Suffice to say, its still not the fastest, but its quick enough to worry lots!

Hmmm. And to think it's usually the trucks with GEM modules that have these issues.

I don't think you qualify in that regard though.

I have the exact same issue and can't trace it down.

Does yours have anything to do with the windshield wipers?

Process of elimination on my truck makes me lean toward a short in the wiring inside the steering column.

"I use baby wipes.....

Because if you think that a wadded up piece of paper is actually getting the chit off of your butt.....then I have to ask a question....

.....if you wiped a turd on your arm....would you just use a paper towel to get the turd off?.....or would you wash your arm?...

...let that thought roll around in your head for a moment...

" thank you tank for that insightful thought

Mine did this when i bought a cps from a parts store like autozone or oreilleys. Everytime it rained, truck ran like crap. Nice weather it ran great. Doesn't do it with Ford or International CPS.

Sounds like a IDM issue. I would pull the IDM and check to make sure it is not showing signs of water. Fill all the connectors with dielectric grease and reinstall.

I would do this to all connectors under the hood or in the cab you can get your hands on. Its a good thing!
