Brake Part Question

What is this piece called that holds the pads under the caliper? One of my pins is frozen and I cant get it to budge. Any idea what it costs? Im guessing its a dealer only part or maybe a scrapyard...

Ok, looking at some aftermarket sites it looks like this comes with the caliper and isnt an individual part.

You have the caliper braked there and the pins are called break slides. The metal clips will come with you new pads.

All of the items should be avalible at your local parts store such as O'Rieleys or Autozone. Napa would also have these things.

Brake slide or guide pin from Auto Zone Click here

Front Caliper Bracket
Rear Brake Caliper brackets

Be sure to check with them since you have a SRW that these are correct but that should be what you need.

That is the Caliper mount, with the price of the caliper assembly so cheap now, I do not do brake jobs without changing the caliper and the mount. Every time I do, the slide pins seized and then you risk loosing the inner brake pad and destroying the disc.
One thing you want to remember is, never force the fluid back into the ABS assembly. I clamp the hose or remove it, then collapse the caliper. or open the bleeder if you are planing on reusing it.

Got the replacement at Autozone, plus some new pins and some anti seize. Shes braking like a champ again!
