return of the truck running like its running out of fuel. Help!

My problem has returned after a good year of running fine. its done it like once or twice in the middle but only for a second or so and then it would run fine. and it just runs like its running out of fuel real shaky and rough. the only think i can can think of is there is some gunk/dirt etc i dont know. but yesterday i pulled the fuel filter off "after it ran bad for a second then ran fine" and there was just a little bit of fine dirt on the bottom of the fuel bowl which would make sense of why it runs like its not getting enough fuel. something must be clogged i guess.

so a year ago when it did this which here is the thread

i replaced alot of stuff like the fuel pump and a few sensors i changed the oil, filters, everything i could think of and it never fixed the problem so what i did was i kept running the truck and it kept getting better running bad less and less until it just stopped.

so the only thing i can think of is to get to the tanks either drop them or remove the bed and then remove the sending units and if the tanks do have junk in them clean them.. which i thought i seen a thread on here "just tried to find it" while my truck ran fine that had all the same problems and the guy said that the sending units had like a sock material type filter that was falling apart which left a sandy type dirt in the fuel bowl.

im just guessing this is my problem i removed my chip which didnt change anything and i also cleaned the screen on the side of the fuel bowl and no changes. and i dont know what the fuel pressure is when it runs like it is but i can tell you it runs perfect when this problem doesnt occur.

if anyone has any idea on what else i should do besides dropping the tanks and cleaning them please let me know

sorry for the long thread but i didnt want to leave anything out.

thanks, Levi
