7.3 Questions

Hey guys I am looking at a '95 f-250 HD with lots of goodies, had a 6.0 before but just recently sold it and an '00 F-250 V-10 that I feel is too pretty to put to work. The '95 is a 7.3 with 238 kilometers and a 5spd, what are the areas of concern's on these pickups and problems too look for, also what are the best bang for the buck mods, http://kamloops.kijiji.ca/c-cars-veh...AdIdZ419395912 or just I go for this bad boy instead http://kamloops.kijiji.ca/c-cars-veh...AdIdZ419921559 thanks for your time

If the clutch has never been replaced I would put that at the top of the suspect list. The factory dual mass units on the OBS's are notoriously bad.
The waterpump would be next, those seem to go around the 100K mile mark.
The glow plug relays aren't the most robust, there are guys swapping the out for heavier duty versions, but it looks like that one's been replaced. He lists "new glow plug harness", but they share the same harness as the injectors. These are known to burn out (just the glow plug portion on the ends) and if they did replace the entire plug, perfect!
The turbo up-pies are prone to leaking, but that's hit or miss, some guys like myself have 200k miles on the originals.
Injectors are hit or miss too, depending largely on maintenance, anywhere between 150k to 300k miles.
I'd recommend swapping out the downpipe with an aftermarket 3" version if that is still stock too, makes a HUGE difference driveability-wise.
I see he has an engine brake listed, I'm wondering if he's just using a factory EBPV switch, in which case most guys remove this completely to cut down on exhaust temps. Aside from that you're pretty much set.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, ask him about the coolant, making sure if the green stuff is still in there that SCA additive was used.
