Diesel Fuels

From what I understand, the best diesel fuel is fresh diesel fuel from stations where the volume is high. Are there any diesel fuels that have a higher cetane rating than most?

Thanks

Some places offer premium diesel wiyh a higher cetane level. I have not found this everywhere though it is hit or miss.

diesel kleen is good stuff, it is a good idea to add a little lube for injectors.

Thanks Guys

I know certain stations offer "Premium Diesel" but it would be great if the cetane numbers were posted on the diesel pumps so you would know what your really getting. Never understood why this is not a law like gasoline octane postings? I know the Power Stroke requires at least 40 cetane according to what I read. I have heard a few fuel companies have a 45 cetane rating maybe that is what is meant by "Premium Diesel"? A few times I have asked the attendant at a few diesel stations about their cetane rating and when they winterize their fuel. The attendant looked at me like I was from another planet?

By the way, I do use the Diesel Kleen (white bottle -winter) (gray bottle- warm weather) seems to be a decent product.
