Question Need Speed

This is my first post and I think I have a crazy question, but here it goes...
I have a 2002 F-350 Dually and want to get down the quarter maile as quick as possible. I know the list of things for the 7.3 is LLOOONNGG just to get into the low 13's not to mention all the drugs required to do so. What my question boils down to is what would be a good engine swap to make this ford fly??

My problem is not the 7.3, but the amount of money it would take to get this engine to do what a duramax or 6.0 would do. If you can tell me how to upgrade this thing with out spending more money than it would take for an engine swap please tell me. Heck I even thought about a duramax.

Or would it be easier to just go buy a new truck that is easier to upgrade than a 7.3?

Thanks

well thats not gonna get you into the low 13s very easily as im sure to reach those times you will need, injectors, turbo, programming, studs, fuel system, ext....... so either way you go you will be spending BIG $, with the money you would spend getting a 6.0 and heavily modding it, in my own personal opinion you could just modify the 7.3, your tranny will definitly need to be upgraded either way you go, anythig over 400RWHP and 700Ft Lbs on a torqueshift i believe is just asking for trouble...........there just my not so expert opinion
