what range are you guys getting with the "big" tank

ive been getting 500 miles out of mine, averaging 14.3-14.8mpg mostly city with about 200 miles of highway per tank. i think this is a good number considering before the ICP mod it got like 12.7 average. anyone else actually fill their trucks up, drive a tank full and refill then do the math, i dont want any guessers here, what do you guys end up with?

For me those were winter miles, no plow add the plow mileage drops to about 10-12.

Summer i can get as much as 16.5

Mind you I'm leaking fuel and have a bad trans so hopefully this will go up a bit. It also doesen't help that the chip never sees any other setting than the 140.

a while ago i did a bit of highway driving, city, plowing and got 13.7mpg but that was before i made the ICP adjustable, on the highway now i set it to 3.3K and the mileage really gets good so it helps out overall.

a few weeks ago my dad and i took a trip up north to go snowmobiling, pulling our 2 place enclosed (whole rig weighs in at 9400lbs) i got 14.3mpg average, the whole trip was 441 miles, 200 of those were at 70 on the highway, the rest on bumpy back roads with speeds constantly changing from 30-55mph.

i could probably get over 15 if i really tried hard, its hard to go 500 miles without beating on it at all lol. the last tank full i went through lasted 525 miles and used 37.37 gallons, on that tank the truck idled for 2hrs one day and i did about 80-90mph, and lots of WOT for 30 miles on the highway screwing with a durasnack.

basically it doesnt seem like driving style affects the mileage to much.

these are fill ups, trip reset, driven till empty, refilled, then calculated by dividing the mileage by gallons it took to refill it. this truck doesnt have an over head console.

jees you got that bigo of a difference with the ICP mod? I get just under 500 miles a tank filling up, but not to the neck, I just look down the neck, if I can see it right there I stop.
