New Motor

I have a 1992 ford f350 with a 7.3 diesel. It is naturally aspirated and I am getting a 7.3 diesel from a junk yard and have been assured it will fit right in but the new motor is out of a 94 and has a turbo. I am confused will this motor work without a lot of major changes? Or should I change the intakes and just make this new one naturally aspirated?

Selling Parts 7.3

I am selling parts of a 7.3 1992 Ford F350.. I have heads, block, intake. I will sell them as one unit or as a whole. The only thing this motor really needs is a crank kit. I got tired of waiting for a kit so I ordered a new motor for my truck. This motor is an indirect diesel and does not have a turbo.

Wrong forum. You've got a 7.3L IDI, and the 7.3 IDI Turbo ('93-94 Models) will indeed bolt right in, differences are minor, like serpentine belt vs older V-belt, so use the fan for the turbo engine or it will get hot.

2000 Excursion XLT 4x4

6.8L V-10, 4R100, 4.30, 285/75-18, 271whp / 388wtq
The one I won't, (Jul-2005 to Sep-2012):
2005 F-350 XLT, CCLB, SRW, 4x4 FX4

6.0L PSD, ZF-6S650, 3.73, 35x12.5-18, 4.5" Lift
