My DP chip

Few questions Maybe the Man himself will jump on and answer,

1. Read that my boost should easly get 25-30 on 80 hp setting, im only getting 20 max.

2. didnt know i had a little larger tire stock is 265's i have 275's

3. will be getting a transmission valve body, looking at the banks big head wastegate.

4. and Muffler has been deleted.

My question is should i send my chip back to Jody for reprogramming?

I would say no, but he might tweak it. Sounds like you might have a small boost leak...

As far as the Banks big head, I had one on my 99 and loved it but its pricey! Look for the turbomaster wastegate controler. I added one a few months ago and love it, very simple! Want more boost just tighten the bolt!

Since Jody is not here, I can answer some of your questions.

You will want to send you chip back to get reprogrammed for the new VB.

Do you have anything in the map sensor line to regulate boost? Have you check for boost leaks?

Send him an email so he knows what's going on with your boost and which VB you plan to go with. He will get back to you first thing in the morning or later tonight.

Hope this helps.

Ill check the Map sensor line, as far i as know there is nothing there. i havent put nothing there unless there is somthing from the factory, and ill check for leaks this weekend.

Ill be sure to send the chip back for reburning then...ill miss it while it is gone...

ill look into that turbomaster wastegate, figures a banks unit would be pricey lol

Here you go! Very simple product! The reason I went to one is the water injection kept messing the factory controler up...
