My 7.3 F350 has 46800 on the odometer. At 30,000 I had the dealer do the 30,000 service which included the transmission service/flush. If I decide to go with a synthetic fluid at 60,000 what are my choices?

Thanks

We've had real good luck with Amsoil in the 4r's. I usually run it 100k before changing oil only when I replace the torque convertor's. We change TC's at around 100k anyway.

Mobil makes a synthetic that is Dextron/Mercon rated. Good stuff.

I'm leaning more and more toward Redline synthetics although I'm a longtime Amsoil dealer. I'm getting of high shipping rates and paying sales tax on full retail. Along with that I don't sell soap and every other snake oil product Amsoil wants me to peddle. :umno:

I probably be going to Redline syn tranny oil also.

Bad news...The newest Mobil-1 ATF is now Mercon-V rated.

Just be carefull with the type of Syn Trans oil you buy. You want to make sure it works on your tranny and its NOT Mercon-V rated.
