HELP!!! Its sputterin and blowing white smoke

Hey Guys,

I really need some help here. Yesterday I started the truck up, it idled a little on the rough side (which it seems to be doing a lot of lately), I let it warm up and then went for a short ride. I got out to the highway and kicked er down, lots of black smoke:smoke: then all of a sudden it chugged real hard and then lots of white smoke  then black smoke again. I got to my parents house and shut the truck off. Four hours later went home, now upon startup it smokes really really really bad. Blueish white smoke.

When I stomp on it, it bellows black smoke but I can feel it missing.

When I got back home I removed the SCT Programmer from ATS and put the stock setting back in. It seemed to run a little better. Then i put my banks BIG HOSS level 5 chip in to see if it made a difference. Now it seemed to run even worse and really started sputtering and missing. When I press on the throttle whitish smoke just bellows out of her and the truck is definately warmed up by now!!

Any thoughts before I take er to the stealership!

Thanks,

Matty:shrug:

Do you pull any codes?Sounds like a Injector problem, fuel pump turbo,

Do you build any Boost? How hot does she get EGT's Wise?

White smoke is unburnt fuel.Black smoke is wasted fuel and Blue is oil.

it sounds similar to my problem i had a few months ago that turned out to be the IDM.

Except, my truck tried to run away.

If you take it to the dealer take evvvvverything off of it. Unless your dealer is ok with those mods, which most wouldn't be. Good luck hopefully its nothing serious.

P.S. I'd take off that propane if I were you not too good on your rods

if it turns out to be the IDM make sure they check the UVC harness more than once...

a bad UVC harness will take out a new IDM and is possibly the reason the first went out.... don't ask me how i know this
