guess what

Hey guys...guess what! i sold all my gassers, and my toys (cept the stang of course) and i decided to pay off my F550 and buy it from my business as a personal vehicle. getting rid of all my other things really helped pay some minor bills and such.

Well the dump bed on the truck has had it, so im going to remove it in favor of either a flat bed or a 8 foot dually box. Im going to slide the dually box 5 or 6 inches away from the cab so i can frame mount 5 inch stacks. Next ive got a 5th wheel hitch im going to put into it (thinking about delivering trailers for a living). Ive got a chrome grille and a new bumper for it. That Leaves the new door which will be in the body shop tomorrow

and now for goodies!

What do yall reccomend as far as mods? im open to just about anything (just aint rippin the whole engine apart ). Whats the liked intake for the 7.3? What is liked as far as chips/tuners? i was thinking about a superchips flashpak or a tuned sct from one of our vendors.

also, can aftermarket injectors be installed without needing a modified hpop?

Intake... AFE STAGE 2 but $$$ Tymar good and less $$$. You've got PMR (powered metal rods) so keep of the drugs as much as possible. Singles do ok with the stock HPOP. You'll want to put a turbo on it, GTP-38r or an H2e. Go with a chip, your not worried about warranty, so the tuners loose some of there appeal, a six pos chip tuned for the injectors!!!

schweet...isnt a tymar the same thing as a bhaf for a cummins? just a big honkin air filter, attatched to the intake tube with the filter minder in the end of it? what are the benefits of stage one injectors? i heard stroker injectors are mucho dollaro, is that true? is it possible to use a cummins turbo on the powerstroke? i know a guy whos got a Hx35/40 hybrid id like to use. Also, i never got into 7.3s very much so im sorry if ive got dumb questions. For an exhaust im going to straight it all, and route stacks behind the cab and ahead of the bed, is that sufficient?

hehe i dont mind loud, im already hard of hearing and nothing like a little diesel sound to aid in the gain of smiles who has injectors for the psd? im looking at citydiesel.net for turbos as we speak

Bean, or Swamps are real popular,

Its not the loud, the PSD has a blap to it, V-8 kind of Blap. Some like it, I dont. The aero takes that out...

Hey Dom! Glad to have you here in the 7.3 arena. I don't have any input for ya besides you may want to save up for a good tranny cause it's a sure thing at some point!!

I'm doing my mods at the end of May when our son comes to visit.
Keep us updated as injectors are on my want list too!!

hey diesel dog, thanks for welcoming me to the world of 444 cubic inches umn, ive got a ZF6 speed so a clutch may be in order in the future
