Anyideas where this much oil would come from?

I know I'm missing a bold on the back of a valve cover, but this is ALOT of oil!

That looks alot like my leak that drove me nuts for abt 2 weeks. Very little oil in the valley, but the trans was covered. Would leave about a 10" diameter puddle under the trans after about a 10 mile drive.
Mine turned out being a kink(completely shut-off) in my CCV hose going underneath the truck. Was causing so much pressure in the crankcase that it was blowing it out around the EBV actuator rod in the turbo pedestal. Yanked the pedestal off and plugged the hole before I saw the kinked line.

Note: All of the pressure would release at one time if you opened the oil filler cap. It would sound like a softdrink bottle releasing pressure when it's been shaken up and you end up being the poor soul that opens it.

Just what happened here. Nice pics by the way.

have you checked the oil gally plugs on the back of the heads? they have a o-ring on them. had one blow out once and you could not see it? try putting about 10psi of air in your ccv hole and maybe you can hear it??

both are BONE dry looking up behind the Flexplate. I'm thinking end rail plugs or pedistal rings AGAIN!
