7.3 smoke and clanking problem

i am from southern nh and it has been raining for days . i went to start my truck this morning and it was running smooth then died so i let it sit i started again and it ran for a while and it started to make a clanings sound and black smoke i think it is something with the injectors.i am not sure. it runs smooth and it clanks and then back to normal please help me!!??!?

With all the rain you've had up there...have you drained your fuel bowl? Also...you may have gotten some bad fuel. Those might be the cheapest and easiest things to check first.

sounds like an injector missing? do you have a way to get codes?? that would help alot. you may have a under the valvecover wire connector loose. try running the engine,grab the wires were they go into the valvecover and wiggel them. if it smooths out or you can make it clank its a wire connector under the valve cover.
