Ya if you get one out of a F-350 it's pretty much a bolt on ordeal.

Like he said, bolton.

Geoff, was poking around the last Pacific Raceways videos for the last race looked like you were in the 13.5's? Was that with any juice? smokin time either way. last one looked like you may have broke something?

I ran a 13.544 on #2 only. I don't have any juice on my truck right now. I had a so so launch and a half tank of fuel. I think with a good launch I could easily be in the 13.4s. The next run after I made the 13.544 pass I busted the front drive line. AGAIN! This time it was the yoke at the T case busted in half. I'm going to take it easy from raceing for a couple of months. I don't have the money to keep fixing drive lines that I seem to be breaking. I have some more stuff in the works and plan to be back at the NW Natinoals if not a little sooner to make a faster run. I'm shooting for 12s by the end of the year. Not sure if I can do it on #2 only with the little H2E that I've got or not but I guess we'll see!

I didn't think you would be using nos but just had to check. those are some great times without it, looked good those other runs. IMO you should be able to break 12's by fine tuning the truck/launch. have you tried a set of front end limiters? may help save the driveshafts too. what hpop you running now? sorry for the hijack on the thread.

Ya I'm pretty sure I could shave a tenth or so off on the launch. The weekend before in Portland I had a really good launch on my first run but I had the OD off so I ran out of rpm and it hit the governer before I got the OD on again so it would shift. I ran a 13.7 then. The next run that time I had the rear U joint on the front drive line let go and the drive shaft smacked the T case and cracked it. I just can't seem to get a good launch together with a good run! Oh well. I'm still trying to get a good system down for stageing at the lights. If I start to spool up to soon the TC acts like it's trying to lock the clutch and it bogs the engine. Brian at BTS said it sounds like I'm stalling it up for to long and running the TC out of fluid. I had to replace the TC after the first race of the season due to this. Currently I'm running a Swamp's big piston pump. Wish I would have known about the Gen III pump comming out before I got this one. I'm also running 250cc hybrids and off the shelf DI programming. I think I could get more out of it with some programing but I don't see the point in doing any custom programing when I'm going to be changing the injectors before long.

Here is a complete forum on swapping the Dana 44 TTB (Twin Traction Beam) to Dana 60 solid axles. A Dana 50 TTB is pretty much the same other than the springs.

Yes you can but why? I like the I beam set up much better. If you know the tricks you can make it just as strong, if not stronger tha a 60.

By the way, I have a straight 60 for sale right now.
