My air intake temp sensor has no wires connected to it!

I have a 2002 F350 which I bought a few months ago. It has a K&N Filter set up and today I noticed that the air intake temp sensor, which was attached to the filter support frame (for lack of a better term), had no wires attached to it. I looked for dangling wires and found none. If I need to re-wire this sensor, can anyone provide me with thew information I need to get this done?

Thanks for any ideas.
