Proud owner of a 2000 F250 7.3L,shes been a great truck 410,000 current miles and still running great.Yesterday she started acting up, all of a sudden electrical power dissapears causing it to stall. Took a voltmeter to the batteries, starter and alternator all had good reads of 13+.Now here is the weird part, as I was checking the fuses in the cab drivers side my elbow hits the power seat adjustment, surprise I have power being the key was in the ignition it starts the chime truck fires up everything is fine.Until the cycle starts all over again. I'm assuming there is an electrical short just don't know where to start,Any suggestions?
Has anything else changed lately? The seat wiring may be a good place to start, since it made a difference by bumping it....seat motor and mechanism as well.
I've heard never seen bad things from ether lol it sounds like a chip or icp issue to me but I'm no expert.. You might try after the buzz test if it comes back good run the block heater see what happens in. Just my shade tree ideas I wish ya luck! cash machine apk
I've read here that bad motor ground wire connections can cause weird electrical things to happen. You might clean those well and see if that helps. Have you thrown any codes?
