CPS Install...Position critical?
First off, thanks to all that chimed right in when I joined and asked about my stalling problem. You guys nailed it, then the kind folks at Ford nailed me for the part. Still have to stand while at my computer....
Anyway, I noticed there is some slop in the screw hole, allowing the sensor bracket to be rotated slightly. If this was a distributor, it would change the timing (old school type anyway). Will tightening the sensor down 'randomly' make it run different? Seems to like where it's at, but I could see the location left in my old one wasn't centered...just don't know if it matters?
