little coolant leak

I noticed I little drip coming from the bottom neck of the water pump, at least that is where it looks like it is coming from. I looks like it is running down the lower radiator tube and dripping down on the ground(very little). I was told it was coming from a "weep hole" in the water pump from when the seals go bad in the water pump the coolant runs out it alittle to keep it from washing the grease out of the bearings in the water pump. I am not sure so I thought I would ask you guys first....

They told you right. The bearings usually wear first and works the seal to cause the leak. We usually get 120 to 130k miles out of a water pump.

E-Bay has some decent deals on PS pumps. I just bought one last week shipped for under 100 bucks..
