Auto E Question

I have AE it it scans fine on 1999 PSD (and a multitude of other vehicles) but tried it today on two - 2000 PSD's and it would not connect to either one. Anyone know of config issues to hookup to 2000 PSD? After it would not hook up to the 2000's, I plugged into '99 and it scanned fine. TIA.

I'm gonna make the assumption you have the enhaced Ford add-on.
I have found that as the AE starts to establish a connection up and starts to scan the PCM, the SES light will come on. Recyle the ignition key to OFF and then back to ON at that time. Then the AE will scan the PCM and establish a link.

Your problems may be related to differences in PCM from early 99 to 99.5 and on.

Also verson 4.4 is available for download from autoenginuity.com

Thanks. downloaded 4.4 earlier. Will install and check. I also have a save config file for the 99 that I'm going to delete and see if sees the 2000. Thanks again.
