i have 4.33 gears with 37" tires and it seems to runs the rpms a little high for freeway driving approx. 2500 @70mph . what gears do some of you have with 37" tires how do you like them and how does your truck pull with them .

i have the original set of 3.73 gears that came with the truck in a box when i bought it .

I have 4.10 gears with 215-85-16's (stock size) and my rpm is verry similar to yours, within 100 rpm.

Its hard on fuel economy just driving empty, but with a trailer hooked on I wouldn't change a thing. I am normally towing with my truck and 70 mph is typically all the faster I can go. Without getting tickets anyway

If you are dead set on changing gears I would probably go with 4.10

3.73 might lug a little bit for driving 55 to 60 mph with 37's

I have 4:10 gears with 35" tires, which brought my speedo back to within 1mph of being accurate(according to my gps). At 65 mph, I'm turning 2200 rpm's. As far as pulling, the 4:10 gears are way better. Stock gears in my 96 F-350 were 3:55. Hope this helps.

I LOVE MY 37's AND 3.73's... Wouldnt change a thing... Nothing like cruising at 70mph and 1800rpm's. If I set the cruise at 70, I am going about 80 and at 2200rpms... works great for me but I have about 20 speeding tickets...

I also have 37's with the stock 3.73 gears and I like them alot. As mentioned before, cruising down the interstate at only 1800 rpm is great. The truck is still very strong on the bottom end also. I'm getting 17 mpg on the interstate with my set-up, but only 13 mpg in town. Hey CSIPSD, how are yuo clearing 37's with only 4" of lift? I have 6" of lift and my 37's rub very bad.

thank you all for input sounds like i would be best with 3.73 back in truck for freeway cruising and since i don't pull with it much i don't need the extra bottom end grunt .
