gauges

hey guys and girls i just got a boost and egt gauges and an a piller pod and i was wondering if there is any tricks or pointers anyone can give me on putting them on. there going on my obs powerstroke thanks

Its not all the Difficult but like anything for a first time doing it just take ur time. I spent 3 hours doing it if i had to do it agian i would be able to do it in half that time.

Do all the wireing you can inside the house, get all done you can. Then go out to the truck and pull all the wires to the motor. Here are a few pic's that might help.

First one is the Pyro, Drivers side up pipe is a drill and clamp. Or you can drill and tap the manifold at the same location.

Tranny? Didnt say you were installing one, but if your an Auto it is one of the most inportant ones... See Pic....

Boost, go to the hardware store and build a Tee with 1/4" on two sides and a 1/8" out the top for the boost line...

I did it on my Cummins, but that was a 5sp. Now I am looking to do my X up and add a tranny temp gauge. Anyone got good pics on that?
