Turbonetics or a GTP-38r BB

I have issues with my BB, still have not got it back yet. Turbonetics is working good, little laggy but I have a .84 housing in the shop to try to see if it helps. Thanks to Brian at BWD.

Also depends on what you want to do... Big injectors later? or staying stockish?

I love my GTP38R, it spools quick, whistles like crazy, and I have not had any surge issues at all. I do not tow anything heavier than 8,000 lbs, so I have not had surge issues, some guys have had some surge with the GTP38R but they must be pulling heavier loads than me. You can also get the non wastegated version with different housing options that I have been told will eliminate surging. I think you would be happy with either of the turbos mentioned but as said above really depends on what you plan on in the future for mods. Gene :mafia

Couple things

Drive pressure-surge

For stock injectors, I'd look at a TN with a .84-keeps same wheels and compressor but has a custom machined smaller turbine housing. Spools faster than a stock turbo-moves more air with a 91 MM wheel.

Attached is a stock 2001 turbo drive pressure versus the TN 1.00-before and after.
