99 7.3 shuts down in the rain

Ihave a 1999 7.3 psd ford f 350 it only shuts down in the rain no codes just like i turned off the key then restarts with no problem

Being that it's a '99, I would tend toward electronics. Particularly the GEM under the dash. It's buried in with the fuse box and you need the size hands of a 5 yr. old with the strength of a 20 yr. old to get to it very well.

Do you have any other problems? Wipers, windows, locks, etc.

Could be any # of things . . .

7.3 stalls when wet

no other problems just stalling like i shut off the key .but only when raining

Leaky windshield+GEM module is no good and could certainly be the problem. Check the connector at the CPS also. The GEM module is easier to get out if you completely unbolt the fuse box so you can move and twist it. If you look under the dash you can probably see if water has been leaking in there or not.
