I'm running 285's with a 2 inch spacer. I'll hook to anything and pull it all day.

If he doesn't use spacers, just make sure the tires don't touch when the truck is loaded.

what kind of spacers can you use? can u just have some machined and run them, I was thinking a 3\4 inch spacer for the 265's machined out of aluminum. if they are required to have spacers. BTW how thick can i go with machined spacers, without buying the $600 spacer kit i have found on the web?

thanks for the info

I've seen 1.5 and 2 inch on e-bay. About 300 bucks. I'm gonna try325's next go around, or bite the big bllet and step up to the 22's

265/75 and 235/85 is basically the same height but the 265's are wider.

Ya, I know that, but I was woundering if u could run 265's without spacers, and still haul heavy loads without the tires rubbing together.

Thanks
Scott
