Truck keeps dying!

Got an '01 'duty that shuts off at random. Also sounds like a small exhaust leak coming from the motor. I know its not the ebpv, it works fine.
However the tach registers when i crank on it. Any guesses?

What Did I DO?

My guess would be the cam position sensor. Dads would shut off at random and thats what the prob. was with his. Sam

I found the cam pos. sensor from Puredieselpower.com for $97
I bought one through ebay, new in the package for 60 bucks. there were others for sale
They are close to 200 from the dealer. JFYI

2006 Dodge Laramie Quad cab 4X4 muffler delete, that's it.

Thanks alot guys. Going to get sensor today, if that doesnt work going to get a big hammer!!
