Fuel pressure at the pump

Does anyone know what the factory fuel press. at the pump is? What is too much pressure, and what is optimal fuel press. from the tank to the filter bowl? Thanks.

IIRC International says fuel pressure should be between 62-68 psi. Ford from what I have read from post on shimming the regulator seems to set it around 53-55, mine was at 53. I can tell you that when I shimmed mine it was more responsive and quieted down some of the injector noise. I shimmed mine up to 70 psi, but now I have regulated return kit and have it set at 68 psi. Hope this helps ya, Gene :mafia

we shoot for around 65-75 psi here anything in that range will make her run better if its lower than that now.
