The injector "Buzz Test" checks the WIRING in the harness, UVCH, and injector coil for proper current flow. It is done in numerical order, and if you fail to hear one, you have a dead injector.
Cold oil can make the buzzing very difficult to hear especially if there is any significant background noise.
