No fuel

Tried to start my 99 F350 yesterday. Started and ran about 2 mins. Changed fuel filter. Tried to restart nothing just rolled over. pulled out fuel filter nothing no fuel. Could the fuel pump went out? Thanks for any help.

It sounds like the pump went out. Put your filter back in and have someone switch the truck on. Listen carefully to the cap and see if you hear fuel circulating. If not check your fuses and make sure it is getting power to the pump. If all that checks out then the pump is more than likely bad.

Super easy to change. I would try to test fuel pressure before you drop almost 200 on a pump.

Is it cold? Mine did this when it gelled and was exactly like the pump dying. I thought it did hurt the pump, but when I got rid of that trashy fuel, the pump is fine.

I'm not sure of the number of the fuse. It should be in your owners manual. Also check the pump shut off switch in the passenger side kick panel.

Replaced the fuel pump after all the air bleed out. It started and ran fine. took it for a test drive it still had a little shudder. I thought it still had some air in the fuel lines so a little wot. It sucked all of the fuel out of the bowl and now it won't start. I can hear the pump run. Is there a pump in the tank or is the sock pluged up. Thanks for any info.

There is only 1 pump which is on the frame. More than likely you have something clogging the pickup tube in the tank. Could also be some crap plugging the fuel line between the pump and the filter though.

How about blowing some air thru it each way from the pump?

How much fuel is in the tank?
There is the premix valve slash prefilter in the tank that maybe clogged.
